Great resort, some appliances a little dated but fully functional. This is an awesome resort!! Our first time to the Northwoods and it was a most enjoyable trip. This is a great resort and a terrific place to use as a base to explore the area.
Simply put, we love everthing about this place! We've been going there for years without ever a problem. In fact, they've done cartwheels to make us happy! The staff deserves high praise for their efforts, this includes Wendy, Mary and the list goes on...!
Great place to stay. Have owned a time share unit for over 35 years. Always improving and upgrading. They have pontoon boat and fishing boat rentals. They also rent bikes. Nice indoor pool, whirlpool, and sauna. Beautiful lake view. We have a two bedroom unit, it has a full kitchen, full bath and 1/2 bath.
This was our first year using a time share we privately purchased. We were greeted pleasantly at check-in and provided keys and other information. These rooms are clean and are fairly well stocked with the essentials. The toaster wasn't great, and the coffee pot was full of grounds, but not a big deal. Furniture was comfortable, and decor was cabin style. Bed was comfortable, too. Actually, had maintenance in to correct issue reported by prior occupant. Nothing could detract from the beautiful surroundings. Lots of wildlife. There are boat docks available as well as boat, canoe & kayak rentals. Fire pits and grills are also available. Fishing was good but poor according to the regulars. Hiking and walking trails, too. Looking forward to our next visit.
Got a suite for the weekend, off season, which was smaller than expected and didn’t seem like a ‘suite’. Room could have been cleaner. We didn’t use any of the other services as we were there really just to sleep. Bed was hard too. Cabins on the property look very nice. Perhaps try a different room type next time.
I own a week in Indiana and exchanged for a week here. The place is nice and comfy on Minocqua Lake. Rooms can use a little updating. Otherwise bed was nice and it was centrally located to all the places I wanted to see in Northern Wisconsin Northwoods and the Upper Peninsula.
Customer service was out of this world. We will be back, looking forward to it!!! Had campfires and swam in the pool and hot tub. Nice little gift shop and free coffee in lobby. Have a hiking trail on site and right next to main bike trail which goes into town. Perfect location for bikers!!! Sat and watched AMAZING Northern lights from the boathouse dock.
So beautiful and peacefully quiet. It’s easy to have a relaxing vacation at the Beacons. Enjoy the fire pits at night, plus walking trails nearby. Great pool and hot tub.
